Dr. Wade Underwood has been named as the incoming principal of the Amazon Valley Academy in Belem, Brazil. He will be replacing Dr. & Mrs. Ralph Evans, who in their retirement years, have been serving this past year as interim director. A HUGE thanks to the Evans, and big welcome to Dr. Underwood!

Mr. Avery Stewart has accepted the position of director as the American Cooperative School in Paramaribo, Suriname, arriving in Suriname in February. The position has been open since Dr. Frank Martens retired in June 2003, so we rejoice that God has brought a wonderful new leader to this important ministry in South America. Welcome Avery!

Mr. Jeff Pinnow is not new to NICS, but recently accepted the position of Director of ICS, Seoul, beginning in July 2004. Jeff has been serving this year as assistant director, as Dr. Phil Halliburton, current director, will be moving back to the States for a furlough, followed by an assignment at the NICS Home Office. Thanks, Phil, for a job well done in Seoul, and welcome, Jeff!

Miss Diana del Rio has taken the position of Director for Rhein International Academy in Weil am Rhein, Germany ( Basel, Switzerland metro area). Grady & Cindy Toland have returned to the States for personal and family reasons, and Diana has really stepped in and risen to the task. Thanks, Diana! And a heartfelt thanks to Grady and Cindy for your commitment to this project and the sacrifices made to get the school started. We love you guys.
